Where are you located?

We are located in the centre of Tamworth. The shop is right next door to a public car park on Church Lane. A location map found here

What are your opening times?

We are open:

Monday 9am – 4pm

Tuesday 9am – 5pm

Wednesday 9am – 1pm

Thursday & Friday 9am – 5pm

Saturday 10am – 4pm

We are closed on a Sunday and Bank Holidays.

How much notice do you require to order a cake?

The sooner you can book the better to avoid disappointment, however as a general guide for wedding cakes we ideally require 9 months notice – and for birthday / christening cakes 2 weeks notice. If you are unable to provide this we can of course accommodate shorter timeframes subject to availability.

For wedding cakes we also offer a “Save the Date” service which allows you to reserve a date in the future without having to confirm your specific cake design. This service can be used up to 2 years in advance of your wedding date and requires a £50 non-refundable deposit payment secure.

How can I order a cake?

The best method to order a cake is to call into the shop in person, where you will be able to speak directly to a member of the team who will be able to discuss your order. Alternatively you can email us using our contact form or call us (preferable) on 01827 65676

To confirm an order a deposit or full payment must be made either by cash or debit/credit card.

Whilst we are able to communicate with our customers via our Facebook page, we are not able to take bookings via social media.

Do you deliver cakes?

We do provide a delivery service for wedding cakes only. Depending upon the delivery location and size of the delivery a fee may be incurred. Unfortunately we do not offer a delivery service for birthday cakes, these are collection only from the bakery.

Are you able to post / courier cakes?

Due to the fragile nature of all our cakes, we do not offer a postal delivery service.

Do you have a price list?

As all of our cakes are bespoke we do not have a standard price list. Birthday cakes start from £25, Wedding cakes start from £175.

Can I taste your cakes before I order?

We offer a free cake tasting session for all wedding cake customers. Our Sample Saturday service allows you to pre-book a slot on the final Saturday of each month (October – March) where you can sample a range of sponge and fruitcakes. To book a Sample session please call the bakery on 01827 65676.

Alternatively we also bring samples of our cakes to all the Wedding Fayres we attend throughout the year. Find our the next wedding fayre we’re attending here

Do you make Allergen / Gluten / Dairy free cakes?

Whilst we can make a cake using Allergen / Gluten / Dairy free ingredients, due to the strict legislation regarding allergens (December 2014 – requiring a separate bakery for allergen / gluten / dairy free produce) we are unable to offer a guarantee that our cakes can be made a 100%  Allergen / Gluten / Dairy free due to the risk of cross contamination in the bakery, and therefore are not labeled as such.

If you have any specific questions regarding Allergen / Gluten / Dairy free we have 2 professionally qualified members of staff in this area who will be happy to assist you.

How long will my cake last?

All our cakes are baked fresh in store and are best eaten within 3-4 days from collection / delivery.
